We are so glad that a small, local importer brings these wines directly to Oregon because the Grossot family creates flawless and enjoyable Chablis at a jaw-dropping price. The 2015 Grossot Chablis is textural and deep, a great Chardonnay in a leaner style. The nose is crisp and bright, but the palate brings notes of chalky dust, almond skin, lemon curd, and spiced vanilla bean (no new oak, just spice!). Such complexity is usually reserved for the premier cru level of wine from this region. Enjoy this wine with crustaceans, roasted chicken, Christmas ham, and double creme cheeses. Drink now through 2018+.
